Peak race engines HP is at about 7200 in most Alfa race engines. Shifting at 7500 is the general practice, but often it is necessary to extend this to 8000 and beyond on many race tracks and in red mist confrontations. The REM FINISHING process results in a harder more durable surface that improves the fatigue as strength and reduces friction (heat) between inner & outer springs. Good  insurance for only $87 extra.
