This 1mm oversize stainless steel valve fits all 1600 and 1750 engines.No need to replace the stock seat since it is 38.25mm

Flow is dramatically increased by:

• Larger window for gas escape
• 45 degree seating
• Shape of back side of valve
• This 38mm valve perfectly fits the original 38.25mm seat.

NOTE: There is a theory that the smaller 37mm standard size valve diamater reduces overscavenging and yields better performance characteristics.  We also offer this special design valve in 37mm (See Part #1750EVST).
