Fits all 1750 & 2000 engines (not twin spark). Suitable for street performance and track day cars. This is a matched set of stock rods that have been sized, magnafluxed and balanced end to end. Weight 740g. Stock rods are suitable for use in any performance engine of 10.5-11.0:1 compression. They are safe up to 7000 RPM through the gears and up to 7500 in 5th gear. With our 25% lighter (than Borgo) JE Pistons the margin of safety is greatly increased. A good set of stock rods is quite adaquate for street performance and track day cars.

• We had to run stock rods in SCCA and IMSA RS cars up to 1980. We found that polished/shot peined rods were no better than a good set of stock rods.
• "Race prepped" rods are $600-750 exchanged. For that kind of money it makes sense to step up to our new custom forged I-Beam Carrillo Rods.
• At only $890 per set, they are 90% as strong as the $1200 H-Beam full race rods. Available March 1, 2010.
