Viton material cylinder head oil passage O-Rings sold in set of two.

All gasket makers use inferior butyl rubber with temp rating of -35 to +250 degrees F

VITON is rated at -40 TO 400 degrees F.

  • Exhaust temp can reach 1400 degrees F and transmit over 300 degrees to exhaust side oil passage seals.
  • Subjected to the higher heat range Veton O-rings are able resist deformation.
  • Unlike Butyl, Viton is chemically resistent to oil additives and fuel contamination. This feature is very important.
