We have been working with the people at JE on our pistons since 1978. Through our racing engine research and on track experience we have continuously modified our designs for better performance.

As listed our 85mm, 12:5 is a 1mm oversize version of the 84mm race piston. The 1mm overbore is allowed in USA racing and the 50ccs of added displacement contributes from 7-9 bonus HP. Standard liners can be bored to 85mm and hold up under race conditions.  It is the most popular street performance piston available because of this feature. Standard liners can be bored to 85mm. All sets come with standard weight wrist pins (109 grams) and rings. 

This is our universal piston that fits the four different combustion chamber configurations of the 2.0 nerd engine.
