We have been working with the people at JE on our pistons since 1978. Through our racing engine research and on track experience we have continuously modified our designs for better performance. We won three SCCA E-PRODUCTION National Championships using the same 81mm pistons you can now buy off our shelf. Professional engine builders all over the world use our pistons.

  • Compression of 11.5:1 is measured with standard head of 112mm height and 1.4mm Reinze gasket.
  • Deeper valve relief to accomodate most performance cams.
  • Larger diameter valve reliefs will accommodate oversize 44mm intake and 41mm exhaust valves.

    Our 81mm, 11.5:1 1750 piston set was developed while winning three SCCA National Championships. The only change is the larger diameter valve reliefs to accommodate the vintage racers that are not confined to standard valves. The standard 80mm liners can be bored to 81mm. 

  • We also offer these as Piston/Liner Sets.

  • This piston set includes standard wrist pins (109 grams) and conventional Total Seal Ring Set rings.  You should consider the following upgrades:

    • Upgrade to light weight pins (77 grams) for an additional $60.00.
    • Upgrade to Total Seal gapless second ring set for more HP.  $129.00 extra.
    • Upgrade to Total Seal gapless top ring set for even more HP. $159.00 extra
      (check out HP gains at Total Seal HP Gains).
    • Ceramic dome heat coating and Teflon skirt caoting $239.00 extra. Dome coating holds heat in combustion chamber for more power. This ceramic shield reduces heat transfer and reduces oil temperature. Reduced skirt friction decreases parasetic HP loss.
