VITON material cylinder head o-rings, sold in a set of six.

ALL GASKET MAKERS USE INFERIOR BUTY2 RUBBER

VITON is rated at -40 TO 400 degrees F.

  • Exhaust temp can reach 1400 degrees F and transmit over 300 degrees to exhaust side oil passage seals.
  • Subjected to the higher heat range butyl rubber deteriorates.  Viton o-rings...no problem.  
  • Unlike Butyl, Viton is chemically resistent to oil additives and fuel contamination. This feature is very important.
