Properly mounted, these shields will help maintain the concentricity of the rubber coupling if the donut fails.They will prevent the bolts from bending out and contain the rubber.  These shields are CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum.  For higher performing engines, you can also upgrade to a better flex disc with our economy conversion kit or to our ulitmate race conversion .  OEMFlex joint shown, not included.
