This rugged but user friendly Tilton clutch set up was developed for professional rally competition.  Unlike the metallic disc setups, the engagement is relatively smooth and it can be slipped getting off the line.  This makes it a favorite for vintage road racing.  Unlike, the metallic discs, the Rally setup can be "slipped" without damaging the friction surfaces with no sweat getting out of an agricultural excursion.  The Tilton Rally clutch takes a licking and keeps on ticking.  This is my choice for regular season SCCA National Racing.

Rally clutches feature cerametallic discs, utilizing a unique blend of ceramic and metallic materials that offer a good balance of performance and drivability. These discs have friction material that provides the higher heat capacity needed when slipping/modulating the clutch. Suitable for racing applications where limited clutch slippage/modulation is desired.

For Alfa Romeo applications we offer both discs with either a sprung or unsprung center.
