This is a NEW pressure plate that we have made suitable for performance or race use. This 215mm Sachs unit has been upgraded to withstand the demands 240 HP performance engines. HOLDS 180 FT LB OF TORQUE.

RACE MODIFICATIONS:

• The soft steel assembly rivets are replaced with aircraft grade bolts.
• The driven plate mounting straps are reinforced against tearing with steel backing plates. Stock units do not have these rivet backing plates.
• A third bolt is added to each straps outer mounting position.
• Larger diameter bolts are used on the inner strap mounting.

WARNING! For many years the stock Sach Pressure plate was reliable for racing. The new product is only suitable for street stock engines and will fail if used for performance. Other brands are likewise deficient.
