Street, track day and vintage racers have needed a rod better than stock, but cheaper than the $1200 H-Beam full race rods. At only 575 grams our special Carrillo alloy forged rods are 175g lighter than stock rods and 90% as strong as big brother H-Beam rods. Suitable for high compression full race engines operating into the 6500-7500 range. The ultimate 2.0 engine at 190 HP or more still need the H-Beam, but these special rods meet the needs of the medium duty Alfa racer.
