For all 1750/2000 Nord Alfa Engines

These superlite PFS rods are designed to be used with our superlite pistons.  The weight of the rod was reduced 90 grams to 534 grams (76 grams/12% lighter than ARROW).  Our superlite JE superlite pistons were reduced 100 grams to 354 grams.  (This is 60 grams or 10% lighter than Cosworth.).

It is estimated that this combined weight reduction results in acceleration gain equal to replacing the stock flywheel with an aliminum unit one-fourth to one-third the weight.  The prototype rods we tested were considerably lighter, but we had to beef up this production version for the heavier pistons on the market.

These rods are precision, high strength, quality connecting rods, which when properly installed and maintained, will perform flawlessly in today's racing and high performance engines.  Rods include Carrillo's patented Carr bolts which are made from 285,000 UTS tool steel.  Unlike WMC bolts, these never need replacement.  Sold in sets of 4.
