BRAD PENN PENN-GRADE 1 Partial Synthetic SAE 20W-50 Racing Oil is designed for use in turbocharged and non-turbocharged racing engines. It is used in similar applications as the SAE 10W-30. It provides a heavier viscosity that is commonly desired in hot weather conditions. In addition to the benefits of the API SJ/CF service categories, it provides extra protection that is characteristic to our heavier SAE 20W-50 multi-viscosity racing oil.

When I started racing back in the 1960s, the rich Kendall GT-1 was a legendary racing oil with a loyal following of veteran racers that would not run anything else in their engines. Temperatures ran cooler; bearings and rings lasted better and our race engines lived longer. Only twelve years ago Brad Penn picked up where GT-1 left off and returned the famous green oil to the market, but without the Kendal name.
