The rebuild includes: new rear seal, new syncros/sleeves (except 5th gear) other parts (gears, bearings, locktabs etc.) as necessary.

This CLOSE ratio gearbox fits all 2.0 bell housings.  This rebuilt unit is sold on an exchange basis.

Core requirements:

Your exchange core has to be a re-buildable unit.  Absolutely no fried or exploded cores.  Cores returned incomplete will be charged accordingly through a deduction against the core deposit.  You pay $500 if you elect to buy outright with no exchange.

It is shipped WITHOUT the following parts: bell housing, bell housing dowel ring, drain plug/seal, fill plug/seal, speedo sender, drive yoke, driveshaft yoke nut, reverse lock out plate, shift tower cover base plate, two shifter sliding plates, shifter stub seal and retainer washer.  You must transfer these parts from your original unit.

SHIPPING

We ship the rebuilt unit to you in an insulated ice chest that is light enough to go UPS and sturdy enough to protect the gearbox.  We have found the ice chest provides a better chance of the gearbox arriving undamaged.  You will ship the core back in the same ice chest.  Core must be returned within 60 days of purchase.  We will return your $565.00 core/container deposit less the return shipping within 10 days.
