This 4.10 ratio is a fantastic upgrade for a performance street Alfa with a 4:55. My Guilia Super had to turn 4000-5000 RPM to keep up with the fast lane on interstate highways. The "Buzz" at 4200 RPM up was maddening even though it had stock mufflers. With the 4:10 installed it now cruises easily at around 4000.

• Reduce exhaust resonance noise 
• Reduce engine noise
• Reduce engine wear and tear
• Increase fuel mileage
• Enjoy having longer 1st and 2nd gears for around town driving
• Actually made the car faster off the line in the first two gears

This is a low mileage unit (about 50,000 miles)

"Rebuilt" as follows:

• Inspect gears & bearings
• Replace pinion seal
• Check preload with factory tool
• Replace pan gasket 
• Inspect LSD mechanism and reset breakaway at 115 ft #
